If you are visiting Cape Town for the first time, The city’s Table Mountain, The Beaches and its vibe are the obvious attractions that jumps at you but there is more to see and do in there. Here are some of the interesting spots in Cape Town you'll need to know just in case you want to try something different.

Cape Town is a coastal city in South Africa. It ranks third among the most populous urban areas in South Africa, after Johannesburg and Durban , and has roughly the same population as the Durban Metropolitan Area.
ROBBEN ISLAND
Some say it’s overhyped, but the truth is a visit to the Island is a walk into South Africa’s dark past and this makes it worth a visit. Nelson Mandela who spent 18 of his 27 years imprisonment there made the Island most famous.
Robben Island is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its sombre history and as a distinct trajectory of the inhuman Apartheid regime.
BO KAAP
This is a colourful Cape Malay community where you’ll find brightly hued cottages, spice market, art galleries and craft centres as well as the Signal Hill and century-old mosques.
THE LONG STREET
If you are in Cape Town and you want to go to a place to catch fun, have a romantic date with your patner, enjoy a raucous night out, a lazy afternoon cocktail or some shopping,We recommend a visit to Long Street. Even if none of those is on your to-do list, simply strolling around there won’t be a bad idea.
It’s a lively place with people from everywhere. The VOC Company Garden is just off Long Street and you can extend your visitation/stroll to the place.
KLOOF STREET
This is another busy road and interesting street in Cape Town. Located on the other side of Lower Long Street.
Kloof Street has an eclectic blend of great restaurants, spars, unique shops, old historical buildings and various other landmarks.
THE CAPETOWN BEACHES
There are many nice beaches in Cape Town where you can catch great fun. Boulders Beach is one of the most visited beaches in Cape Town because of the colony of African penguins there.
The beach is a popular recreation spot and visitors can swim there. There is also the Muizenberg Beach.
KIRSTENBOSCH NATIONAL BOTANICAL GARDEN
A stroll in this beautiful garden is a perfect cap on any visit to Cape Town. You will find a bridge that goes into the tree canopy from the forest flood. It’s called the Boomslang, after the name of the green tree snake. The view of the garden from the top is simply beautiful.
Another catch is the garden’s location on the eastern foot of the remarkable Table Mountain, and at the heart of Cape Floristic Region, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004.
KALK BAY
This is a tiny coastal area just outside Cape Town. It is a busy tourism area with main road lined with various antique stores, art galleries, a pretty harbour and nice restaurant.
