- THE AQUARIUS CAFE
The Aquarius Cafe - Gambia is a small but smart, popular
night spot in the entertainment district of Kololi. The dance crowd is a lively
mix of trendy locals and entertainment seeking tourists to the Senegambia strip
area.
Music lasts until late into the night and party goers can
enjoy the latest R&B, hip-hop, Latino and dance tracks. There is also a
well appointed satellite TV showing some of the latest pop, rap videos and
sporting events.
The bar staff serves a broad range of alcoholic drinks,
cocktails & soft drinks.
The Gambian night spot was established in 1998 and has a
capacity of approximately 100 people. It is under the management of Mr.
Bensouda.
The entry fee for Aquarius during the holiday season is
around D200.

- CLUB DUPLEX
Club Duplex is one of the best night clubs in Gambia, if not the best! and its
a must visit venue while on holiday in Gambia. It's located in the heart of
Kololi & close to the Kairaba Hotel and Senegambia Hotel.
This disco in Kololi covers an area of land that is 13,000
square foot. The complex is modern and stylish in design where you can do do
your stuff on the large dance floor.
The venue is comprised of an intimate lounge, exclusive VIP
areas, and balconies overlooking an extraordinary dance floor.
The main floor has two bars, including a bottle lounge next to lavish VIP areas. The disco's varied crowd genuinely creates a vibrant party every night.
Various art installations and live performances give Duplex an underground feeling, while DJs play an diverse mix of high energy House, soul, techno, Ndaga, drum & Bass, hip-hop hits, R n B and other music classics.

Duplex operates a strict dress code so trainers, slippers

Directions:
If your car is coming from the direction of Banjul then turn

signboard located on the road side.

- COTTON CLUB RESTAURANT
The Jazz, Salsa, Grill House serves excellent drink
cocktails, dinners, and live music including jazz. There is a choice of Al a
Carte or basic meals as well as an Afra place built to the side of the
restaurant.
This is a place well worth visiting for those staying at the
Kairaba Hotel or the Senegambia Beach Hotel as it is within walking distance.
The music played at the Cotton Club is Reggae, Mbalax, Salsa
and Jazz. It has a total capacity for a couple of hundred people.

The night club and bar is within the Duplex Plaza
Entertainment Centre. If coming from the Senegambia area then turn left at the
signpost and drive down about 150 metres. It is situated on the right hand-side
of the complex.

- JOKOR NIGHT CLUB
Jokor is a restaurant and garden club in Gambia, established
in 1996 as an open air entertainment centre and bar located about 20m from
Westfield Junction, Serrekunda. It is open every day with live entertainment on
Fridays and Saturdays.
The food is exotic, service excellent, beverages always ice
cold, entertainment unmatchable anywhere else in this land.
The kind of music played is Salsa, Ndaga, Dance Hall,
Reggae, R&B. The club has a capacity of 1,200 people with an entrance
charge of between D50 to D100. Ladies' Night each Wednesday.

- JAKARLO NIGHT CLUB
The former Spy Bar now called Jakarlo officially opened its
gates on the 23 October 1998, following New York and Stockholm. It is now owned
by its current proprietor Mr. Mabou Touray who is also the organizer of Sound
City Promotion.
Jakarlo means "to face each other" and the
nightspot is in the Senegambia area and is one of the largest clubs in Gambia.
It is partly open-air and is frequented by tourists and locals alike.
The club area is airy and large, with a good atmosphere, raised seating everywhere with its own table area. It has a total of 3 bars. The music is a potpourri of hits both old and new featuring global as well as African musical artists. The front gate has security and there is plenty of space in front of the establishment i.e. a car park.

There are numerous taxis parked nearby, till late evening,
so you can easily get transport back to your hotel. There are gardens outside
the main dance hall with seating allowing you a little chill out time in the
fresh air.
